Okasaneko is ♥Kittymama♥, and it’s easy enough to guess why.
Okasan is Japanese for Mother, as Neko is Japanese for Cat. Melding these two words came up with an unlikely version of my English moniker Kittymama.
A Tubby Tabby, Three Konekos and a Life with Hello Kitty and Autism.
Hmmm… that just about sums my life with my husband, my two boys (the three men in my life– my konekos!), my undying fascination for all things Hello Kitty, and my lifelong advocacy for autism. There are days when I feel like I am balancing too many balls in the air, but hey, who hasn’t felt the same way every now and then? The key to life, I believe, is to treasure the little “happiness-es” we take for granted each day. Then, and only then, can we start to live.
So hop along my life’s journey with me. It’s bound to be a rollercoaster ride! ♥

KittyMama,
Thank you for inviting me to ride on your rollercoaster! After not having been in touch with you for so long, it feels good to be able to re-connect through this medium. I am sure I will enjoy the ride.
Always,
MegaMom
Megamom,
Back when we were young, who’d have ever thought we would be the Moms we are today? And that beyond everything we’ve done in our lives, our children would be our proudest achievements? Now I truly understand what our moms spent hours at the PTA for. (Say hi to your mom to me!)
Thank you for coming by, my friend.
Always,
Kittymama
P.S. Don’t we sound like “superheroes?”
Exactly! We are Kindred Kitty Spirits! I’m glad I came across your blog.

So! This is your little corner in the sandbox. Good to have found you. Thanks for your kind words on my blog. Your obsession with Hello Kitty is awesome. And hats off to you for your autism advocacy. A very dear friend has an autistic son – it’s an amazing journey, to say the least.
You have a great blog. I admire your advocacy. God bless you and your family.
