The Cross We Bear

21 May

Was feeling particularly lonely today. And then I got this via email, and suddenly, I am grateful for the chance to reflect on the burdens I bear. I think Someone is sending me a message.

When I am weary, O Lord, and my burden is heavy, teach me to be grateful for the cross I bear.

Days like these are like a catharsis. You know what I mean? 😀

The Universe, The Higher Power, The Source or God (however people call them), has a way of awakening us. Often times, we (including myself) can be so stubborn about the lesson we need to learn until it hits us in the head like a ton of bricks.

According to Tolle’ “Every experience you go through, is the Universe teaching you how to elevate your consciousness.” It’s tough but we all go through it.

Its difficult to re-train our minds to be quiet but its worth it during times like these.

    Everything will be fine. 😀

Thanks, my friend! As usual, when I’ve got my head screwed on backwards, you immediately come to my rescue to set me straight, and for that I am deeply grateful. 🙂 ~♥Kittymama

Wow!!! That is amazing. I think I’ll pass this post on to my pastor. Haven’t seen him in months (does it count that my hubby did yesterday) but I know he’ll enjoy this.

Isn’t it? I got goosebumps when I got it; it really felt like He was talking to me, reminding me of something I’ve forgotten. Thanks for dropping by, Beth! Miss you! ~♥Kittymama

Got this email too and was so surprised at the ending.

We can not really bargain with God, can we. As we always say, there is a reason for everything that is happening in our lives.

Its been a while I have been here, PNOC, hope I am still welcome 😀

Of course, you’re always welcome! 🙂 Thank you for dropping by; your visit is most appreciated, especially during these times. ~♥Kittymama
